Position: Operations Executive - Diamond Business
Overview: As an Operations Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the operational aspects. This role requires a unique blend of organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of various processes within the diamond business. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and manage the end-to-end supply chain for diamonds, including procurement, transportation, and inventory management. Inventory Control: Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to track and manage stock levels. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory. Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Streamline operational workflows to reduce lead times and increase productivity. Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics of transportation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety regulations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and communication. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on key operational metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the diamond or jewelry industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of the diamond industry. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for inventory management and analysis. Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented and meticulous. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
