Your Role: As an Associate in MicroCap and SME o, you will be at the heart of our investment strategy, driving the discovery, evaluation, and nurturing of high-potential investments. This role is crafted for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, combining deep financial analysis, strategic market insights, and a robust understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges within the micro-cap and SME segments. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Investment Analysis: Led the development of financial models and valuation analyses, utilizing methodologies suited for micro-cap and SME investments to inform strategic decisions. Opportunity Sourcing: Actively source new investment opportunities through comprehensive market research, leveraging public and proprietary data sources, and networking with bankers, industry experts, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the investment portfolio, conducting regular reviews and engaging with company management to ensure strategic alignment and performance optimization. Market Insight: Maintain a pulse on market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that could impact the investment strategy or portfolio performance, translating insights into actionable strategies. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive investment strategies, sharing insights and recommendations through compelling presentations and reports. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of investment processes and methodologies, championing innovation and best practices within the team. Qualifications: MBA in Finance, CA, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance, particularly in micro-cap and SME investments. You have demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to process and analyze large volumes of data efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining professional relationships. Commitment to ethical investment practices and understanding economic laws and regulations. Compensation: CTC: 21 lakhs per annum, with a monthly payout of 18 lakhs and an annual retention bonus of 3 lakhs. Performance Bonuses: Additional bonuses based on individual and portfolio performance. Carry Incentive: Eligibility for carry based on portfolio performance.
