Role Description
- Execute business insight generation projects within key functions and strategy areas, particularly within Manufacturing, Logistics, Marketing, Sales, Pricing, etc.
- Provide technical expertise in various data science areas, modeling techniques, and predictive analytics. Assist the onshore team in implementation of these techniques for specific projects.
- Provide inputs to business areas on key insights generated and on the development of action plans.
- Help onshore team to demonstrate and communicate the measurable business value of actions taken from the generated insights, with inputs and ROI justification.
- Utilize analytics and data science to promote collaboration and learning across business partners.
- Communicate with stake holders and understand business requirements, transferring these to data visualization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, science
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, ETL, data integration, etc.
- Strong understanding of multiple statistical and quantitative models and techniques such as, but not limited to, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Linear Models and Optimization, Clustering and Decision Tree.
- A strong understanding and experience with analytics tools such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI for reporting and visualization, Snowflake for data Storage, data modeling, ETL and data movement tools such at Matillion, IICS, Python, R or SQL.
- Experience applying data science to solve problems in at least one of the following domains /fields (multiple areas will be preferred): Marketing, Manufacturing, Pricing, Logistics, Sourcing, Sales.
- Flexible and enthusiastic to go beyond the given instructions to create business value.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - English
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in team environments.
