For more information about Crum & Forster, please visit our website: The position We are looking for a Performance Tester, who provides expertise on performance testing capabilities using tools similar to Load Runner, J-Meter and Blaze meter tools. Performance Tester Duties & Responsibilities to write an effective performance tester under given job description. Key Responsibilities: Identifies performance test environment requirements and works with the infrastructure, network operations, environment and release teams to setup the environment for effective SLA measurements Create and execute performance test strategy and test plan, interfacing with all level of the application protocol stack Work with the entire team to identify potential application and infrastructure bottlenecks and suggest changes Build and executes test to provide high value, high accuracy results Set up the performance test process from scratch Own the performance test process What are we looking for? Required Knowledge and Skills: 8 + years of experience in JMeter scripting and load runner(Mandatory) Knowledge with all Phases of performance testing, test types and Scripting, Execution and analysis. Knowledge of Software defined storage will be a plus Experience with performance testing for multiple protocols. Experience with testing complex multi-tiered applications. Strong working knowledge of all Performance testing concepts Strong knowledge of at least one Monitoring Tool like New Relic/Dynatrace/AppDynamics. Working Experience with Unix / Linux Environment. Knowledge of Reporting tools and listeners Good-to-have skills Experience with Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker etc Hands on experience in Python Working Experience with AWS / Azure. Performance tuning knowledge on one of the databases like MySQL, Postgres, SQL server, Oracle etc. Experience in heap and thread dump analysis and JVM tunning.
