Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned professional for the role of Global People Operations Director . This leadership position will be pivotal in managing the global people operations and employment processes, ensuring compliance with international labor laws, implementing best practices in benefits management, and implementing of scalable people operations which will enable the future growth of the organization globally.
The purpose of the Director of Global People Operations role is to lead the people operations and administration throughout the employee lifecycle for Miratech. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of HR administration and standards across the company. This role encompasses the strategic planning and day-to-day management of HR personnel support across international locations. Your leadership will extend to the supervision and optimization of relevant functions and services provided by local suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end global employment process, aligning human capital initiatives with business objectives and ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
- Design and implement people operations policies and procedures, including background checks, pre-onboarding, relocations, leaves, GDPR compliance, and internal mobility; partner with our legal team when necessary.
- Implement the employee benefits and perks portfolio (medical insurance, pension funds, etc.) as designed by the company to ensure in line with international market benchmarks, partner with our finance team to accurately budget and forecast, lead the future development of the benefits and perks. Manage 3rd party benefit provider relationships.
- Drive the expansion of the company’s global footprint by contributing to the establishment of new locations and entities, either through growing hiring hubs or future mergers and acquisitions and implementing best practices for employment and benefits for the new entities.
- Lead and optimize people operation processes in the implementation of a new HCM, leveraging technology and automation to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure personnel records accuracy and consistency across the systems.
- Build and lead a competent people operations team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development and “getting things done”.
- Perform other duties as maybe required and/or assigned by the company given the purpose of the role.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of successful leadership experience in a similar role at a company operating globally.
- Comprehensive understanding of local and international labor and immigration laws. In-depth knowledge of and experience with compensation and benefits principles and practices.
- Strong experience in employee relations and performance management.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, a success record of managing an international and diverse team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, successfully managing key stakeholder relationships across the business.
- Experience leading the people agenda for setting up new legal entities, and/or mergers and acquisition experience will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- An advanced level of English is essential.
