Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Crewing Officer located in Chennai. The Crewing Officer will be responsible for managing crews, communication, crewing, operations management, and ship management. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating crew changes and scheduling, monitoring crew performance, communication with the vessel's captain, and ensuring crew compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Experience in managing crews and operations management Excellent communication skills Knowledge of crewing and ship management Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or related field Certification in relevant areas such as STCW or AMSA is a plus A candidate with experience in crew recruitment, training, and safety management is highly preferred. Proficiency in multiple languages may also be beneficial for this role.Job tags
