RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position supports the Interoperability Framework (IOF) portfolio in the Automation and Technology Office within the Client Enterprise Operations Business Area. The candidate selected for this Full Stack Engineer position will support the IOF portfolio of systems and products that enables Client's Digital Thread. Successful candidates will work with the IOF Agile Product team and functional stakeholders to implement IT solutions meeting functional requirements and provide ongoing operations & maintenance of the delivered products and services. Responsible for development of IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support. Proficient in infrastructure, Containerization, Cloud, Security, Software Development, Database management systems, Systems Integration, and Automation. Develops using agile processes and common technology stacks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
" Minimum 3 to 5 years of Software Development experience, demonstrating proficiency in full-stack web development (frontend, backend, database, APIs, and other service types).
" US Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role.
" Experience in Containerization and Container Orchestration Services, including Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
" Proficiency in Red Hat Middleware solutions such as AMQ, Kafka, and Camel.
" Track record of delivering software solutions and APIs, with experience in SAP, S4/Hanna, Cameo, Dassault 3DX, PTC Windchill, and Siemens TeamCenter.
" Expertise with Java and/or Javascript languages and frameworks, such as Quarkus, Spring-Boot, JPA, JDBC, etc.
" Proficiency with relational Databases (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, MySQL, etc.) and Structured Query Language (SQL).
" Experience in disaster recovery practices, including backups and restores of virtual machines, databases, and network equipment.
" Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD Pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
" Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for applications.
" IT experience in system/database/network planning and administration.
" Experience in Agile development programs, utilizing tools like Jira and Atlassian.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
" Domain experience in Engineering, Production Operations, and/or Supply Chain, including knowledge of Engineering release and related downstream business processes.
" Extensive hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services, but familiarity with other platforms such as OpenStack is relevant.
" Proficiency in various flavors of Linux (RHEL, CentOS) or MS Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, Nano) environments, with the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI).
" Experience with Gitlab and associated services like Gitlab-CI.
" Configuration and deployment of applications using Openshift/Kubernetes.
" Knowledge of authentication standards and security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, TLS, etc.
" Experience in supporting high-performing virtual teams, comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
" Self-motivated learner, active learner, driven, strong problem solver.
" Additional skills in SAP, AWS, Python, performance testing, XML and JSON Schema, OAGIS BOD, Jakarta framework.
" Application of updates and patches.
" Use of Splunk or other log aggregation & system monitoring tools.
" Ability to analyze and debug traffic through logs, packet, and other network traffic capture utilities.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
