What you can expect
As a Software Engineer, you will design and implement critical microservices for the commerce platform. In specific, you will partner with Zoom's eCommerce, Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, Data Engineering, and Cloud-Native teams to build portals with micro-services-driven architecture and reusable APIs. The ideal candidate will have front-end and back-end development experience in SaaS, subscription billing, or quote-to-cash platforms.
About the Team
With eight specialized departments, the engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse powerhouse. Each department's mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance.
We're problem-solvers, working at a fast pace to design solutions with our customers and users in mind. Here, you'll work across teams to deliver solutions to refine the SaaS selling model for Zoom products, managing the sales lifecycle from Quote to Cash. You would be developing and enhancing the way the entire ecosystem communicates and caters to increasing the overall MRR.
What we're looking for
At least 5 years hands-on in Java language including REST services, Web Services, and/or other portal technologies
Experience with Struts, HTML, XHTML, JavaScript
Have experience with an RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and any No-SQL DBs like Maria and MongoDB
Have experience with integration applications such as Mulesoft, rmq, Kafka, SOA
Have Knowledge of Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Dockers, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot and Hibernate / JPA
Have experience integrating microservices or custom portal applications with ERPs like Oracle (On-Prem/Cloud), Zuora, or SFDC
