Job description

Position : We are seeking an Education Counselor to join our team.

- The Education Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students, helping them make informed decisions about their education and career choices. This position requires a strong understanding of academic programs, career pathways, and the ability to effectively communicate with students and parents.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in education counseling or related fields.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Knowledge of educational programs, institutions, and career opportunities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to assess their educational goals and career aspirations.

- Provide information and guidance on educational programs, colleges, and universities.

- Assist students in the college application and admissions process.

- Help students explore career options and develop academic plans to achieve their goals.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends and institutions.

- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to support students' educational development.

- Keep accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.

- Minimum of 1 years of relevant counseling experience.

- Counseling certification (if required by local regulations).

- Familiarity with academic advising software and resources.

Salary : 3.6 Lakhs/ per annum + bonus

Probation Period : 3 months

Casual Leaves : 20 (after probation)
