Qualification: Any Graduate + Diploma in Labour Law Preferred
Location : Malad, Mumbai
Experience : 6 to 8 yrs in statutory compliance & Client Service. Must have led the Team of 3 Executives.

Desired Candidate Profile - To advise and manage all legal matters pertaining to business, contracts, client disputes etc. and to ensure all legal compliances for the organisation
Roles & Responsibilities - Stay abreast with relevant changes in regulations, connect with various legal bodies to create awareness of various guidelines and implement the same.
- Build a corporate legal and compliance framework to promote and protect organization's image and ensure adherence to the same at all times.
- Anticipate the advise management and leadership regarding updates/ changes in laws or regulations that could have an impact on business activities.
- Connect with business functions proactively on a periodic basis to understand challenges from a legal perspective and provide resolutions to avoid/mitigate the same.
- Define the Risk and Control framework including controls to ensure adherence to legal requirements. Periodically review effective implementation of controls across the organization
- Review the adherence to legal compliances across and ensure all gaps are mitigated.
- Schedule, set agenda for and undertake communication for board meeting and shareholders meeting.
- Ensure compliance of provisions of companies Act, listing agreements, SEBI Regulation and monitoring & reporting other applicable laws
- Research & discuss with the top management on laws & regulations affecting the company, including corporate affairs, compliance programs, trademarks, protection, sales, important legal documents and agreement and company policies and procedures
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the department for management review meetings
- Ensure smooth execution of secretarial audits and prompt closures of NCs if any
- Prepare, review and modify legal documents to assist and support various business activities
- Respond to queries pertaining to legal aspect related to agreements / contracts etc raised by clients / vendors
- Keep track of all legal documents/files/records and maintain all legal documents as per internal filing processes
- Ensure that all cases are attended to, on time with appropriate follow up with concerned stakeholders
- Identify and liaison with external parties like advocates, counsellors and law firms to represent organization for legal proceedings
- Prepare, send and reply to legal notices
- Prepare legal compliance tracker with a list of all compliances to be met and track the same for ensuring there is not a single non conformances
- Prepare litigation report with all updates and submit to Management
