Director, Embedded Software Location: Electronic City, Bangalore Experience: 15 – 25 years Tessolve is a global company specializing in semiconductor and embedded systems solutions. Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate the planning and execution of all projects within Embedded Software Engineering Services. Lead, manage, train, and/or provide guidance to Senior Technical Managers/Technical Managers/Project Managers towards improved planning and execution. Develop and utilize performance metrics for all areas of direct responsibility to maintain alignment of team performance and Business unit goals. Maintain the RAG status of the entire team, own the group’s AoP targets, and work along with sales to coordinate for closure. Ability to develop Techno-commercial Proposals for the RFPs and present them to customers. Knowledge and experience in Turnkey, SoW, T&M models for Embedded Systems and Software projects. Ability to plan the Lab Requirements and budgeting based on the market and industry roadmaps. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred; MBA is a plus. 5+ years of Director-level management experience is required, with 15+ years of overall experience in the Embedded Software Development field. Knowledge of Software Development, Firmware Development, AWS backend, App development (Windows, Android), and SQA. Deep understanding of Embedded C/Linux, RTOS development for different Chipsets. Knowledge of Automation testing, including Unit, Integration, and End-to-End testing. A proven track record of leading large (150 - 200 people), diverse teams. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage projects using the SAFe Agile framework. Effective organization, project management, and task management skills that include the ability to plan, prioritize, organize, gather facts, and exercise sound judgment in problem-solving and decision-making. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present ideas and information to people at all levels of the organization.
