Position Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Technical Support Specialist are to provide support to end-users by identifying, researching and resolving problems and issues; create and conduct operational and technical trainings for clients; and partner with Sales, Marketing, and Account Management to meet clients’ needs. This role provides technical product support to both internal and external customers, who use or support the use of Takara Bio’s Products.

Objective:

To provide reliable, quick and efficient support to customers and business in the region.

Qualifications M.SC / M. Tech.- Biotechnology/Life Sciences PhD in Life Sciences are preferred

Key Responsibilities Pre-sales: Assist sales team members with technical queries during pre-sales discussions Post-sales: Troubleshooting: guidance to customers for running their experiments or have technical queries. Provide quick and accurate resolution to query/complaint. Provide training to dealers and sales teams as required and identified. Participate in conferences and roadshows when conducted. Takes an active role in ensuring that any escalation is handled promptly and effectively. Be a reference point for the entire regional team on various application topics and is able to resolve most of the items escalated.

Desired Competence & Skills: Enthusiasm for Life Sciences Research Field Customer Focus Approach Action Oriented and good decision-making ability. Team Player & Good Communication skills-Verbal & written. Continuous and Versatile Learner Good customer service attitude and willingness to travel as this profile would require travelling.

Added Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven research & communication skills preferable. Strong understanding of biotech trends, technologies, and market dynamics. Self-motivated
