Job Summary:
About the Role :
This individual contributor position will be key to the Star Sports ad sales and account leadership. S/he will provide market context to sales team, by understanding the clients and providing GTM narratives demonstrating ROI towards high impact investments of Sports on TV.
Context:
Market context and insights driven comprehensive narratives that illustrate the primacy of sports and demonstrate the value of high impact sports properties is central to empower our sales and account leadership. This position will play a pivotal role in preparing these customized narratives while also being involved in various strategic projects to build market intelligence to better inform our sales conversations with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare customized client narratives for key client segments, to support go-to-market pitches for sales accounts
- Use Media Metrics (For e.g., BARC), internal & external data sources (For e.g., digital metrics, business metrics, revenue & market share growth, etc.), along with account level primary data, to build supporting facts for client narratives
- Assist in special strategic projects through data gathering and analysis, and bring key pointers to evolve understanding within sports/ TV consumption
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative customer research, and translate findings into actionable insights for client accounts
- Market scan to derive client prospects for our sport IPs based on customer and consumer fitment
- Competitive tracking of media spends and initiatives across digital, TV, print by different industry sectors
- Regularly interface with sales account managers to learn more about their clients & identify any pitch problem statement
- Understand changing market trends and advertising behaviors of industry segments, in order to generate / validate ideas for GTM strategies
Performance Measures:
- Providing comprehensive narratives that illustrate primacy of sports advertising towards achieving brand objectives and relevant business outcomes
- Timely, accurate identification and communication of new advertiser-specific intelligence on advertisers to sales and account teams
- Ensure incorporation of intelligence in sales teams' narratives
Qualifications :
- Minimum Qualification: MBA from a reputed institute
- With at at least 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Core industry exposure - Digital/ TMT/ FMCG/ Retail
- Desired prior experience in the following industries -
- Consulting - Big 4 global delivery teams
- Financial analyst - In house teams from investment banks
- Group corporate strategy Knowledge & Skills:
< li> Excellent analytical and market assessment skills
- Data/ financial analysis, large volume data insights, usage of excel tools like Power BI, Power Pivot, etc.
- Preferable industry understanding of digital , consumer internet or M&E industries Personal Attributes:
- Comfort with working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- High on collaboration skills
