Description
Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)
- 4 - 7 years of experience in Accessibility testing of Web and Mobile applications to ensure conformance to WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA guidelines.
- Strong Understanding on WCAG 2.1 guidelines and region-specific regulations such as ADA / Section508, AODA, DDA etc.
- Ability to debug, identify and report the element level accessibility issues using automated scanning tools like AXE, Accessibility Scanner, Accessibility Inspector, Colour Contrast Analyser etc
- Work with Developers, Product Owners, to understand Accessibility requirements and documentation, implementation details to come up with detailed Accessibility test strategies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, Scrum / Agile framework, hands on experience to track / report issues / bugs in ADO board.
- Proficient in carrying out comprehensive Accessibility testing of Web and Mobile applications including keyboard navigation, screen readers and colour contrast tools.
- Well versed with the usage of assistive technologies on mobile and web platforms such as NVDA, JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback etc.
- Should be able to conduct accessibility audits on digital products and provide required recommendations using different remediation techniques.
- Support, train and mentor teams on the various aspects of digital accessibility
- Effectively communicate status to stake holders and proactively locate and address concerns
- Manage cross-functional relationships across a project/product
- Must understand IT/ DAS environment and have the ability to work effectively in a high performing team.
Must Know - Good understanding of Software Development lifecycle, Web Development, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, DOM structure, PDF, OS - Windows / MAC is required.
- Hands on Experience of accessibility testing tools like AXE Pro, Monitor, Auditor, etc required.

Good To Know - Certifications in Accessibility like Trusted Tester program is required
