Operations Manager About us: Subko is committed to an ideal: to help reimagine, re-design. and re-invent an unlikely origin- the Indian Subcontinent--as a legitimate contributor to the global specialty coffee, craft baking and pod-to-bar chocolate making movements. Only raw materials enter Subko’s facilities: all of the coffee, bakehouse and cacao products are crafted from scratch, in house. From crop to cup, pod to bar, and farm to table. We aim to provide a detailed, high quality coffee, bake and chocolate experience to all our guests.
As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company’s overall operations. Oversee several elements in a business, including hiring staff, operating budgets, and launching price promotions that could attract more customers We are looking for a Outlet Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of our outlet Responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive. Roles & Responsibilities: Build a community by creating Brand Awareness, engaging with customers and partners on ground Creating collaboration opportunities for the brand in the Bangalore market. Curating, developing and running events and activations for the brand in the Bangalore market. Work closely with the social media and creative team to generate city specific digital content Drive the creation and deployment of all social media, digital and creative content and communication in close coordination with the Subko’s Creative studio in Mumbai Have an in depth understanding of the brand’s product offerings Assist with operational data and coordination for the business where needed back to subko bombay HQ Ensuring smooth outlet operations with regards to inventory, cleanliness, operation hours, and maintaining company infrastructure at the outlet. Maintaining log books and managing petty cash and bank deposits. Feeding partnership requesting, coordinating with the HQ with needs and inventory procurement. Oversee day-to-day operations Design strategy and set goals for growth Maintain budgets and optimize expenses Set policies and processes Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally Oversee recruitment and training of new employees Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance Direct the employee assessment process Prepare regular reports for upper management Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors) Required Skills: Proven experience as a Outlet Manager or similar executive role Experience in planning and budgeting Knowledge of business process and functions Strong analytical ability Excellent communication skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Problem-solving aptitude 3-4 years experience in F&B Perks of joining our team: You will be part of a company which is growing at an exponential rate, started just 3 days before the lockdown in 2020!
