Job description
1.Market study and analysis to evaluate key industry trends & upcoming prospects. Collect relevant information and status about upcoming projects. Evaluate and shortlist equipment & services of L&Ts interest and provide inputs for budget forecasting.
2.Connect with key project stakeholders including end-client, licensors and project management consultants to understand their requirements, procurement methodology and important decision makers. Attend meetings to provide clarifications on bid technical and commercial queries. Attend meetings to negotiate additional scope claims & final bid negotiations. Visit sites/plants to identify prospects for MRU Business and work towards qualifying L&T as preferred bidder/ sole bidder.
3.Appraise client about L&Ts capabilities, past track records, recent achievements and execution, safety & quality standards to become an approved trusted supplier. Obtain market intelligence to gain competitive advantage.
4.Manage key accounts and identify new products for development. Prepare business reports and conduct marketing presentations.
5.Ensure L&Ts qualification with the end-client and licensors. Carry out technical and commercial qualifications with client, process licensors and other relevant authorities wherever required.
6.Support project execution by maintaining regular interactions with client and internal departments. Ensure smooth flow of required information and expedite resolution of queries and execution related issues. Ensure closure of change orders, deviations clearance, contractual delivery date extension & LD settlement.
7.Interaction with industry bodies like Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Process Plant & Machinery Association of India (PPMAI). Represent company at industry events, conferences and seminars. Support companys policy and govt. related initiatives.
