Job Title : Contract Expert Engineer - Track Education:
B.Tech. / B.E.- Civil 15+ years’ experience in Contract Management/Tender Experience: Preparation in infrastructure projects for Railway/Metro rail Skills: Extensive knowledge on FIDIC Yellow Book & Red Book, Standard Bidding Procedures, Bid preparation and evaluation for metro rail projects. Competencies: Teamwork, analytical & problem-solving skills, being proactive, good communication and interpersonal skills, result- oriented approach. Responsibilities : · Preparing bidding documents, corrigendum for Contractor’s tender. Inviting tenders for Contracts. · Understanding contractual terms and conditions and requirements in a bid document. · Understand and prepare the conditions of Contract. · Preparation of General Specification and Technical Specification of works Contract. · Review and fix and deficits in the Specifications of the Contract. · Use of FIDIC red book, yellow book, etc. to define the contractual terms. · Drafting tender clauses/documents Standard Bidding Procedures. · Carry out technical evaluation of submitted Bids for each contract. · Meeting with the internal teams on a regular basis to review progress, discuss problems and consider necessary changes in the Contract Document and provide the contractual remedies. · Identifying potential problems and resolving the issues with the client in a timely order. · Advising client of any works to be carried out under separate direct contract. · Interpretation and administration of Conditions of Contract. · Contractual issues from consultants and main client to be addressed.Job tags
