Job description
At Thoughtworks, we are seeking an experienced, business and tech savvy, Bid and Proposal Manager to support the Thoughtworks Global Demand Support team. The candidate will be responsible for driving the Opportunity seeding exercise within Thoughtworks and also responding to RFXs with End to end bid management and proposal authoring and ownership for proposals across global markets, tech and industry service lines.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of IT product and services sales cycle and should be able to provide support to business development and sales communities and enable growth. The candidate will work very closely with various internal teams including global and regional business development, demand/sales, delivery, service lines and support teams.
Be creative, author proposals based on Thoughtworks Offerings and solutions catalog
Work with Client Sales and Leadership teams to articulate ThoughtWorks value proposition to potential customers. Help design and propose custom-designed solutions that incorporate TW offerings and technologies
End to end management of RFPs, RFIs, Bid Presentation and proactive pursuits
Support Tech and Industry Service Lines in building services catalogue, Go-To-Market strategies and pitch packs
Tech proposal authoring and management using reusable assets from the content repository
Help build/enhance Knowledge management microsite and other innovative presentation channels by curating content and collaborating with all the global stakeholders
Run with specific named pursuits and work with the Client Principals and Business Development to build storyline, enable/help create and deliver pursuit solutions within tight time schedule
Plan and execute customer visits to ThoughtWorks offices and ensure that the experience is significant.
Support functional/feature requirements analysis and help Tech/Business Principals with effort estimation (optional)
Work along with the pursuit team to put together pricing and commercial structures that are win-win (optional)
10-15 years of experience in IT Services/Products Presales, Proposal authoring, Bid and Proposal Management across various technologies and Industry Domains
3-5 years experience as Business Analyst or Developer desirable
Hands-on experience of working on proposals with excellent analytical skills to synthesize research
Good Experience/understanding of Sales Cycle/ Demand Solutions/Project Management
Experience of working on proposals in Modernization, Data and AI, Customer Experience, Digital Transformation and Operations desirable
Basic understanding of Thoughtworks tech and capabilities
