Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our DevOps processes and infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline our development, deployment, and operations workflows and ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes for applications and infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate automated testing, monitoring, and logging into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and management of containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Monitor and optimize Azure resources and applications for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and standards in Azure environments, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and diagnose problems in Azure environments, CI/CD pipelines, and applications.
- Document processes, configurations, and deployments, and provide training and support to other team members as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies, DevOps practices, and industry trends, and recommend improvements to our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services (Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts) for source control, CI/CD, and project management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration platforms (Azure Kubernetes Service).
- Knowledge of Azure security features, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
