Educational Qualification
Essential Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and preferably hold a post graduate qualification in
Construction Management, Business, Engineering or other relevant field
Essential Experience
a) Experience in Highway projects Preferably, 15 years out of which 08 years in supervision of Highway Projects in Construction Supervision Consultancy Contracts, with good experience in hill roads. He should have worked as a Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer or equivalent for about five years. He should have experience in the use of modern survey and construction techniques as well as be familiar with
applicable Engineering Specifications and Standard. Experience gained in administering either FIDIC or other internationally recognized Contract Documents is required. Experience of working in live traffic situations and handling safety aspects of works is essential. Should have handled at least one highway project funded by international lending agencies as Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer.
b) Experience in similar geographical conditions Preferably, have experience in Construction Supervision of highway projects in similar topographic conditions (Hilly terrain) having aggregate length of 100 km.
