Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing SOX controls, performing finance, operational, and specialized audits as per the annual audit plan, preparing audit reports, supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses, and providing expert advice to the businesses.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, including SOX controls, financial, operational, and specialized audits.
2. Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of internal controls, operating efficiency, and the adequacy of records and recordkeeping.
3. Support the integration of newly acquired businesses by conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.
4. Provide expert advice to the businesses on risk management, control, and governance processes. 5. Assist in the development and implementation of internal audit policies, procedures, and best practices.
6. Collaborate with various departments to ensure the companys financial and non-financial policies are being followed.
7. Identify areas of financial risk within the organization and propose corrective actions.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and legislations.
Qualifications :
CA Fresher or CA Inter with Articleship / Post Articleship experience.
In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices.
Knowledge of SOX controls and other regulatory standards.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and auditing software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
