Description
Successful Project Controllers display strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and
written/oral communication skills. They should be detail-oriented team members who can
consistently meet deadlines and possess the ability to work independently as needed.
Computer, interpersonal, and customer service skills are necessary. Project Controllers must
be able to multi-task and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse workgroup of
stakes holders.
Responsibilities and Duties
Understand the EPC scope of work and Identify the project deliverables, milestones,
and required tasks and targets
Create a WBS structure for scheduling, and progress measurement.
Prepare overall master schedule integrating work breakdown structure using
scheduling software (P6)
Create resources in Primavera and Load Man-hours into the scheduled activities
using those resources.
Create various schedule reports and determine the appropriate reporting format.
Analyze project control reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to
the project team.
Progress monitoring of projects using Earned value technique
Ensure budget tracking.
Well-versed with Ecosys or Cost management tools.
Managing the Change Management System.
Liaises with all team leaders and/or members to communicate required completion
dates and an interface between the functional team and project team.
Prepare Reports with accurate forecasts
Qualifications
BE/BTech Full time
Experience: - 4-12 yrs.
Advanced knowledge in Excel spreadsheets including power pivot tables and basic
understanding of MSP, Primavera P6 & Power BI.
Interest to learn & develop project controls capabilities.
Basic understanding of the OGC deliverables, Engineering workflow & OGC Project
Controls Knowledge areas
Good understanding of schedule activities sequencing types & techniques.
