Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the IT solutions being used by Athena employees are operating effectively and efficiently. You will demonstrate critical knowledge of the systems maintenance and evidence a professional track record of effective technical management information analysis and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.

Specific Responsibilities

• Testing troubleshooting and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
• Ensure access to the platforms used maintain the security of access logs.
• Ensuring access to all the working systems for new employees.
• Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws codes and regulations.
• Coordinating technology installations upgrades and maintenance.
• Coordinating and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software when necessary.
• Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
• Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.

Education/Experience

• Qualifications and Experience < strong> < p>

  • Bachelor& rsquo s degree in information technology computer science software engineering or a related field. < li>
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services. < li>
  • Proficient in computer hardware cabling installation and support wireless technology applications and interface and IT security. < li> < ul>

    • Proficient in MS Office Microsoft Windows software including server office and exchange. < li>
    • Good team player enjoys independent responsibilities and is a self-starter. < li>
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. < li>
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented. < li>
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. < li> < ul> < li> < ul>
