Job Responsibilities - Cat Parts Aftermarket manages inventory and service on 1,000,000 different parts.
- Provide backend support for various facilities / warehouses located in US, Europe, and Asia Pacific locations. The functions can include any of the below mentioned activities.
- Processing of receipts and receipt adjustments to accounts payable.
- Resolving the grief caused due to discrepancy between invoice and the physical receipts.
- The incumbent reports to the Manager Inventory and will be assigned a specific process to work upon.
- The incumbent is basically process oriented with processes being assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader. The incumbent is dedicated to work for multiple clients. The incumbent usually works on a specific process and receive guidance from TL and SME. In performing his/her duties, frequent contact may be made with other members of the Accounts Payable / suppliers/LPAs. Most of the processes will require the incumbent to work in a team environment with members from different teams and clients.
- Specific process may include resolving Received Match discrepancies.
- Explore ideas for reducing griefs, develop realistic plans based on RCCA (Supplier, Fac etc.)
Background/Experience - Requires a graduate degree or equivalent.
- Must have exposure to MS Office suite of applications and intermediate experience in Excel spreadsheet/pivot tables.
- 5+ years of related experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Warehousing functions.
- Must have good communication, interpersonal skills.
- End user knowledge and exposure in SAP, IBM mainframe and/or any ERP.
- Strong initiative and the ability to learn quickly is desired.
- Should have good team skills and positivity for working in a cooperative and diverse team environment.
- Willingness to work in US/UK/Australia timings
