Job description
Job Purpose:
The Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and systems within the organization. The role demands a blend of hands-on technical skills, a commitment to quality, and a dedication to ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment to extend its lifespan and ensure its effective operation.
Diagnose issues and malfunctions using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Identify root causes of technical issues and develop efficient solutions to rectify them.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and systems.
Assist in the installation of new equipment.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed logs of all repair and maintenance activities.
Report any recurrent equipment malfunctions to the management, suggesting long-term solutions.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all tasks are conducted in compliance with company safety protocols and industry regulations.
Use and maintain tools and equipment in a safe manner, ensuring the safety of self and colleagues.
Continuous Learning & Training:
Stay updated with the latest technical advancements and trends in the industry.
Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 4 Yrs Experience in Service department
Primary Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of equipment, tools, and systems relevant to the specific industry or department.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
Attention to Detail: Ensure all repairs, maintenance, and installations are carried out with precision.
Hand-Eye Coordination: Skilled in using tools and equipment with precision and care.
Documentation: Ability to keep detailed records of work performed and issues identified.
Secondary Skills:
Communication: Ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms to non-technical personnel.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, especially in high-pressure situations.
Adaptability: Flexibility in adapting to changing work environments, tools, or processes.
Time Management: Efficiently juggle multiple tasks and prioritize based on urgency and importance.
