Job description
Key Responsibility :- The Storage Administrator is responsible for management of all centralized storage technologies.- Install, configure as well as maintain storage hardware devices.- Storage Engineer jobs include being responsible for applying patches, upgrading software, and making sure that data is secured- Handle and support replication of DR data to make sure that data is recovered.- Add and Remove Host groups in a storage system.- Create and Remove LUNs and assign appropriate paths.- Install and configure SAN Switch devices- Create and assign zones for Server and SAN Switch connectivity.- Engineers maintain the fiber channel switches and SAN arrangements by ensuring that software and firmware are in keeping with the latest needs of an organization.- Provide the Storage related Technical support to clients.- The Backup Administrator is responsible for providing backup solution for all client/Hosts.- Install, configure Backup client agent in all Hosts.- Add the Hosts in backup tool and initiate the Backup schedules.- Generate the Different type of Backup Reports in HTML and mail format- Restore all the backup data's from Tape library to department servers- Managing Tape library with LTO-6 tape cartridge.Skills : storage,san,firmware (ref:hirist.tech)
