Job description
The purpose of this role is to support Tech@Lilly LCCI lead team in defining the strategy and managing the key operational aspects of the portfoliou00A0including business plan, budget, governance, capability roadmap, scorecard, and communication to enable Tech@Lilly LCCI in achieving their key goals. This role will partner closely with the Tech@Lilly Senior Lead Team, Global & IBU Tech@Lilly teams, LCCI Tech@Lilly and LCCI functional teams to ensure delivery of the prioritised portfolio.u00A0This role will focus on critical aspects of running the Tech@Lilly LCCI leadership group meetings, including financial delivery, vendor management, talent and culture, communication, stakeholder management and related items. The individual is also responsible for internal and external initiatives that have significant impact on the functionu2019s business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategy, Operations and Portfolio responsibilities: Serving as strategic advisor and program management
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Helping the leader identify the areas where they must direct their focus and identifying metrics for success, while revisiting regularly and evaluating progress.
- Coordinate with diverse groups to ensure prompt communication of headcount, and other metrics for Enterprise-wide Tech@Lilly LCCI operations.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and other Site groups to ensure alignment of activities related to Tech@Lilly LCCI.
- Lead, plan, coordinate and execute development of leadership presentations and agenda for different forums, townhall, external engagements, global visitors etc.
- Assist in defining and running the Tech@Lilly LCCI operating model and cross functional governance for managing prioritised portfolios.
- u00A0Be prepared to establish knowledge sharing with broader global and IBU community around best practices and successes by sharing value metrics.
Oversight of financial planning and operations
- Accountable for accurate gathering, reporting, and analytics of data related to all aspects of Tech@Lilly LCCI operations, including headcount, vendor contracts, budget, site initiatives, etc.
- Accountable for curating, and governing the SLT meetings, MBRM, operational meetings.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of site level initiatives, investments, resource allocations, quality, and cultural engagements.
- Develop, coordinate and populate quarterly score card for Tech@Lilly LCCI to track, monitor and review progress of Key strategic initiatives.
- Accountable for planning, organizing, and executing SLT lead team and governance forum including agenda, minutes, decisions, and follow-ups.
- Facilitate the development of T@L LCCI portfolio, roadmap, and scorecard in partnership with lead team including regular updates, reviews, and communication.
Communication and Liaison
- Accountable for establishing and/or implementing a comprehensive communication plan within Tech@Lilly LCCI and with outside stakeholders.
- Serve as the steward for the Tech@Lilly LCCI SLT Lead Team meetings to check and adjust proven operational controls around finance, headcount, portfolio, governance, business outcomes, audit and vendor management across the organization.
- Vendor Management
- Responsible for contracts oversight across Tech@Lilly LCCI and ensuring that key vendors are being engaged in alignment with their core competencies and following procurement process.
- Establish and maintain partner-level relationships with our vendors to enable impactful engagements for both Lilly and the partners.
Compliance
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance workflows, resource allocation, and project management
- Conduct regular reviews to assess the effectiveness of processes and recommend improvements.u00A0
Special Projects
- Lead or participate in special initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned by the SLT, Tech@Lilly, LCCI.
- Lead/Partner

- Oversee and mentor a team of Service delivery manager and Training (Elite), Tech@Lilly Recruitment Coordinator
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Post graduate degree from a premier business management school or adequate professional experience to meet above deliverables.
- 10 years of relevant experience and minimum of 5 years successfully working in and with global/international organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and effectiveness in the areas of influence, team leadership, articulating and taking a position, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with multiple examples of being able to convey complex ideas and thoughts in manners that resulted in definitive directions and results.
- Knowledge of Finance and Procurement processes, deep vendor management experience.
- Experience in marketing and brand building, proven ability to highlight the right stories to the right audience to create impact
- Should be able to navigate well within an organization and should be able to be a spokesperson for the leadership.
- Effective team management capabilities.
