Job Title: Cluster Manager – Vivek Private Limited

Job Summary: As a Cluster Manager in Vivek Private Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and performance of multiple retail branches within a designated cluster. Your primary focus will be on driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and optimizing overall store performance. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue for the CDIT product category. Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Store Operations Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail branches within the cluster, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. Monitor inventory levels, product assortment, and merchandising to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.

Inventory Optimization:

The cluster manager has to oversee and optimize stock levels across multiple locations within their designated cluster. Responsibilities include implementing efficient inventory management systems, monitoring stock turnover rates, and collaborating with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.

Supply Chain Coordination:

The cluster manager has to play a vital role in coordinating with various stakeholders in the supply chain, such as suppliers, distributors, and logistics teams. This involves ensuring a smooth flow of goods from the source to the final destination, minimizing delays, and addressing any issues in the supply chain to maintain optimal stock levels and meet customer demand efficiently.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of branch managers and sales staff.

The cluster manager is responsible for monitoring the performance of the teams within their cluster and implementing strategies to improve overall productivity and efficiency.

Set clear performance metrics, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement corrective actions or provide additional training when necessary to achieve optimal results.

Customer Experience:

Drive a customer-centric approach, ensuring that the branches deliver excellent customer service and meet or exceed customer expectations.

Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution of complaints.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

Implement key performance indicators

(KPIs)

to measure and evaluate the performance of each store in the cluster. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed action plans.

Promotions and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities to boost sales and increase brand visibility.

Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage budgets for the cluster, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions as needed.

Compliance and Quality Standards:

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards. Implement and enforce loss prevention measures to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in retail management, preferably with a focus on CDIT products. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Knowledge of current market trends and consumer behavior in the CDIT retail sector. Familiarity with retail software and inventory management systems. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to travel within the designated cluster as needed.
