The Nielsen Answers Portal and Nielsen Client Portals are critical platforms for our Nielsen IQ clients with 98% of all NielsenIQ clients utilizing these Portals to access their products and deliveries. The Client Portals provide entitlements and authorization services for NielsenIQ with over a 100 NielsenIQ products currently integrated. This area our company is experiencing rapid growth with many new products, partnerships and adoption driving the need to expand our global footprint, improve our platform’s capabilities and grow our team!

We are looking for a results-driven team leader to be responsible for monitoring and supervising a team of off-shore SQA Testers to achieve the organization’s objectives and provide on-time, quality deliverables and ensure system reliability. This role is responsible for providing guidance, instruction, training, and project leadership to inspire the team to perform at their optimum and create a cohesive team that works efficiently together to maximize our team's delivery potential.

What you’ll do

Ï Ensure on-time delivery through quality testing

Ï Partnering with the Tech Lead and on-shore Dev Lead to arrive at sound, best practice testing approaches

Ï Create and maintain test cases and test plans

Ï Create and maintain automation testing frameworks

Ï Contribute to automation test suites as well as manual testing of devices as needed

Ï Perform load and performance testing on applications

Ï Execute, maintain, and report results and analytics from automation test suites

Ï Partner with software engineers and quality assurance engineers to assist with their automation activities

Ï Assist with replication of complex software issues – including load related - using automated replication techniques

Ï Work with the product owner, stakeholders, UX, QA and other engineers to create effective solutions

Ï Participate in all aspects of product delivery, including planning, design, code reviews and cross-platform / cross-browser testing.

Ï Assist with the diagnoses and resolution of product configuration issues in production environments.

Ï Reproducing, documenting, and verifying resolution of customer/field reported issues.

Ï Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to features, functionality, design and performance

Ï Has strong technical understanding of the overall product, including performance characteristics

Ï Collaboratively participate in Agile ceremonies

Ï Provide mentoring to junior team members

Ï Ensure the maintainability and quality of code through testing and use

Ï Hands-on management of a team/teams of SQA testers
