Job Description:
· Must be a self-motivated individual to work in a fast-paced high energy environment with short product development cycles.
· This person should lead Mechanical team and should have demonstrated leadership skills in team management & development.
· This person must be team oriented and design projects from concept through release.
· Job requires experience as Electro-Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for development of automotive Dash Cam IoT products.
· Must have hands-on experience in design and development plastic injection molded products and experience of preparing product for thermal, EMC and environmental tests.
· Job function involves interaction with other functional groups within the organization and coordination with vendors.
· Candidate will create and release product documentation, BOM's. etc.
· Work location is Bangalore.
Experience:
· 12+ years' experience in electro-mechanical design with a concentration in plastic injection molded products.
· A working knowledge of plastic product design and manufacturing processes for mid and high-volume production.
· Excellent understanding of electro-mechanical packaging, thermal considerations, and EMI issues.
· Working knowledge with IDF & ECAD-MCAD transfer process is preferred.
· Must be a present user of a 3D solids modeling package, proficiency with Solidworks would be preferable.
· Knowledge on cable harnessing design and drawings creation used in the product
· Must be able to do Tolerance Analysis of system and DFM, DFA, DFT knowledge
· Product packaging design and testing knowledge
· Knowledge on Product rendering tools like Key shot, Visualize or Photo view 360 will be an added advantage
· Knowledge on Automotive testing standards will be a huge plus
· Must be fluent user of PLM tools and understand Product BoM structuring and ECR/ECN process
· Proficient with GD&T
