Software Engineer CloudOps involves managing and maintaining cloud-based systems to ensure their smooth functioning. Here are the key responsibilities and skills associated with this role: Responsibilities : Developing Automation Solutions : CloudOps engineers create automation scripts to streamline processes, making tasks more efficient. Collaborating with Teams : They work closely with product development, IT, and architecture teams to evaluate and implement new services based on requirements. Security Implementation : CloudOps engineers implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access. System Maintenance : They design, build, and maintain highly available systems for SaaS (Software as a Service) products. Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitoring system dashboards, reviewing logs, and resolving incidents collaboratively with development and IT teams. Cost Optimization : Analyzing cloud resource usage to identify cost-saving opportunities. Staying Current : Keeping up with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing. Skills Required : Virtualization and Kubernetes : A strong understanding of virtualization technologies and Kubernetes. Python Expertise : Proficiency in Python programming.
