Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies.
- Researching prospects and generating leads.
- Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
- Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
- Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
- Managing the sales process through specific software programs.
- Building and maintaining a CRM database.
- Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Participating in sales team meetings.
- Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
- Analyse regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
- Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
Competencies / Requirements - Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role.
- Ability to measure and analyse key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
- Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as needed
- General trade expert is mandatory
- Mobile phone and Laptop necessary
Essential - Technical
- Should be able to read engineering drawing
- Must be aware of regional geographical locations
- Behavioural
- Good communication skills.
- Local language must. Should be able to understand customer requirement, Conflict resolution skills
- General Competencies
- Excellent communication skills in regional language along with English
- Willingness to travel officially
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE = 1 to 3 years
QUALIFICATIONS = Engineer (Preferred Mechanical), Technical Background
REPORTING TO = Marketing Head
OBJECTIVES = Responsible for New Business Development in OEM & Traders
