Job description
Maintain master document list for assigned contracts and handle documentation related communication to and from customer / vendors. In addition to this expediting Project activity with stake holder.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Examine documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
- Review contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, monitors due dates and sends timely reminders and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Copy or fax materials, organize, maintain, and safeguard files and databases, while complying with company standards and policies.
- Under supervisor of Project Managers, prepare and transmit approved project documentation to customer/vendors, record returned document status and maintain all information in the Master Document List (MDL).
- Receive, distribute, and track comments from the customer. Coordinate transmittal of revised documents. Store information in rev-controlled environment.
- Confer with engineers, managers, customers, and others to discuss project, prepare documents, or modify contract scheduled in the MDL.
- Work with Project Managers and internal stakeholders to review change.
- Expediating Project Activity with stack holders under guidance of Project Manager.
- Maintain Project Management database & project tracking sheets as per Project Management global guideline.
Qualifications:
- Any Graduate is Ok . / Engineering Graduate will be added advantage
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Acrobat or other pdf viewer/converter
- Preferably more than 8 years or more years in document control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry, OIL & GAS, EPC will be preferable.
