Job description
Qualification- BE/B.Tech – Technical Discipline. Must be highly proficient with SAP, ERP & MS Office Minimum of 15 +years procurement management with ability to manage teams. Knowledge and understanding of industrial supplies engineering, capex and services procurement
Job Profile • Responsible for Procurement of manufacturing plant including raw materials, capex, MRO, General purchase. He will be responsible to coordinate with the Stakeholders both internal and external to identify requirement, develop and localise supply base and drive optimization within procurement and Inventory Management opportunities . Purchasing duties to support plant production, engineering, maintenance, stores in coordination with HO Procurement departments. • Planning, scheduling, PO release, follow-ups and Inventory management • Compliance with SOP’s and Processes agreed with sr. management team from time to time • Identify alternative vendors or products that meet the specifications for local supply items • Align HO procurement team on key suppliers and price approvals along-with plant leadership • Work closely with operations team to determine best items, suppliers, and prices to purchase in support of company goals • Determine most cost-effective and efficient methods for ordering and Inventory management • Measure supplier performance on periodic basis and identify improvement opportunities • Trace and monitor purchase orders and invoices and effectively communicate with production personnel of item availability, order lead-time and order status. • Maintain files, records and documents related to all purchasing activities including vendor pricing and work order information for future referencing. • Adhere to SLA’s committed and timelines to audit issues and close same in timebound mannerJob tags
