Sales & Proposal - Dy Manager / Manager – Energy Business : Thermal, LNG, Hydrogen & Ammonia (MEA)

Job Location: Gurgaon

Position Overview: We are looking for an Tendring Engineering professional 8 -12 years of relevant experience in sales and tendering in the Power / Energy Industry.

Primary Responsibility: • Identify tender opportunities through secondary / primary research in the market and participate in tenders. • Critical analysis of the tender qualification requirement and assessing the best projects / CV’s to be highlighted to ensure selection. • Overall bid preparation including the division of responsibilities between the participating entities (if applicable), work methodology, organisation chart and CV’s of key personnel, in coordination with the BD / Product teams. • Responsible for precise Cost Estimation, most competitive Cost estimation and finalization of overall tender costing. • Taking management approvals at various stages during tender preparation and cost finalization till submission. • Arrange strategic tie-up / Consortium/ JV with companies for specific projects. • Identify, Analysis, highlight potential risks and work out mitigation plans • Pre and Post Tender customer discussions, Due diligence, competition Mapping, • Coordination/ Liaison with selling agents/ contractors, Techno Commercial evaluations of Contracts, Contract negotiations, finalization, contract signing and pre-project execution processes. • Assisting in assessment of competition for various target tenders, trend analysis of competitors pricing. • Assisting in arranging data through business intelligence for estimation of most competitive Bidding. Analysis of secondary data.

Additional Responsibilities: • Good Liaison skills within the organisation and Business area. • Arranging credentials by forming JVs and alliances with other suitable companies / organizations. • Interfacing with industry members and cultivating relations with them for securing business.

Your Profile:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. 8 -12 years of relevant professional experience in sales and tendering. Experience of working in varied geographies will be preferred. Should be a go getter with a positive team work and collaboration culture. Good written & verbal communication skills Ability to lead small teams and deliver defined work packages in collaboration with ME and APAC teams.
