This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Fabric Merchandiser. The Fabric Merchandiser will be responsible for managing fabric suppliers, coordinating with production and sales teams, analyzing sales data, creating and implementing marketing strategies, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and vendors.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven track record of successful sales and retail experience
- Strong marketing skills and ability to develop effective marketing strategies
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications of fabric
- Knowledge of the latest fashion trends and ability to identify new market opportunities
- Experience in merchandising and managing fabric suppliers is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Design, or related field
