SMTs will be part of a 12 month SMT Program that will offer a unique experience to the selected candidates in becoming a successful Sales Professional. As a SMT, your learning will be hands-on in the IT products domain. You’ll be responsible for driving sales, managing customer relationships, sales processes/operations and learn what goes into managing a large enterprise business. The SMT Program is of 12-months duration, consisting mostly of on-the-job experience of field sales to Medium Business & Enterprise customers. The Program will act as a stepping stone in your journey into a world of becoming a successful Sales Professional. Your tasks and responsibilities: Understand Softcell’s portfolio and reach to the assigned revenue goals by positioning and selling IT solutions in the assigned accounts / territory. Understand and become involved in our sales processes (CRM) and sales cycles Collaborate actively with our Product/Sales Managers/Solution Experts to develop marketing plans and learn to generate demand for our focus solutions and to scout the market for potential clients Learn and implement effective solution sales techniques by directly interacting with mid and large size enterprise customers thereby getting an opportunity to hone your sales skills as well as problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Learn how to win customers and how to engage & build lasting business relationships with customers Understand the order processing systems and commercials Gain experience in driving quarterly sales targets You will have continuous on-going opportunities to interact and engage with colleagues in sales, pre-sales, post-sales, commercial, operations positions. Your primary reporting will be to a National Sales Manager who will also double up as a mentor. You will also have a secondary reporting to a Sales Lead / Manager at your respective location. Skill Sets: The SMT must have penchant for sales. Apart from this aspect he/she must have: Aptitude to interact with diverse people Effective communication skills – both spoken and written Ability to multi-task and multi-engage Sticking to deadlines Yearning to constantly learn/read Self-Motivated and Competitive Adaptable and goal orientated Affinity with IT technology Candidates who are fresh out of Tier-1 and 2 MBA institutes will be considered for this program. Induction Process: All SMTs will undergo a 2 week training and enablement before being assigned to a role in a sales function. CTC: SMTs are typically hired in a CTC range of Rs. 15.00-18.00 lakh, comprising of: a.) fixed (50%) paid at the end of each month as part of monthly payroll. b.) variable (25%) payable annually, linked to achievement of KRA/KPI. 25% of the qualified variable amount is disbursed at the end of the year and the balance 75% is disbursed on completion of collection of receivable from customers. c.) loyalty bonus (15%) paid along with the payroll of 13th month. d.) miscellaneous expenses such as local conveyance, etc. (10%) paid once a fortnight.Job tags
