SAP BTP Application Integration Architect Location: India (Remote) Duration: Permanent
Role Overview: SAP BTP Application Integration Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing integration solutions for our digital and POS retail systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of retail operations to ensure that all customer-facing applications work seamlessly together, providing a unified and enhanced customer experience. Experience Required: 12 - 18 Years Key Responsibilities: Design and implement integration strategies for connecting various B2C applications, including e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, and in-store POS systems. Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of integration tools and middleware solutions to support business processes and data exchange. Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify integration needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of integration architectures, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards. Collaborate with development teams to guide the creation of APIs and microservices, facilitating efficient communication between disparate systems. Monitor integration points for performance issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to maintain optimal system functionality. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in enterprise application integration, retail technologies, and digital customer engagement strategies. Experience & Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise application integration, with a focus on customer-facing B2C applications (e.g. Salesforce, POS Terminals, Apps) in a retail environment. Strong understanding of high volume integration patterns, API management, and the development of microservices and event driven architectures Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., SAP BTP, SAP CPI, SAP PI) and API gateways (e.g. SAP APIM). Proficiency in programming languages relevant to integration (e.g., Java, Python). Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, Azure Event Hub) and their use in scalable integration solutions. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work on complex challenges in a fast-paced retail environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Job tags
