The company continues its further expansion in the APAC region and at this moment considers entering India with its dedicated development center to complement its expertise with high-end talents in the area. In order to excel in its remote operations and build an effective cross-cultural working environment, we are looking for a local Delivery Location Director in India to join the team in its ambitious goals and take over the responsibility for a number of strategic accounts.
In the Delivery Location Director role, you will be driving N-iX India sub-organization and supervision of necessary processes, teams, structure, and technology services composition to successfully deliver what N-iX Clients expect to achieve for their business. The Delivery Location Director will report directly to the VP Delivery.
Job Responsibilities: - Ensure sustainable growth of the unit through excellence in building winning teams, managing delivery operations, and focusing on enterprise and strategic accounts
- Participate in contract, pre-sales and price negotiation processes to sign the deal on favorable terms for the company
- Support team ramp-up and onboarding (from recruitment and forming teams to process establishment and stabilization)
- Manage efficient and scalable sub-unit structure
- Ensure engagement methodology is followed by a team from opportunity assessment to project closeout
- Work closely with customer management to understand the business requirements for the project, develop effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project
- Manage customer expectations & relationships with client's engineering professionals and business stakeholders; ensure client satisfaction from services delivery
- Explore additional business opportunities and drive future business through quality results
- Financial and contractual responsibility for engagement profitability
- Ensures high satisfaction and engagement of the team members; maintain a productive environment and N-iX culture across the sub-unit
- Manage and monitor sub-unit financial results
Required Experience and Skills: - 8+ years of experience in IT
- 4+ years of experience as Delivery Director/Delivery Manager
- Knowledgeable of software design, development, test, and delivery methodologies
- Excellent judgment, interpersonal communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task and alter direction easily to accommodate changing priorities
- Strong people management and client relationship skills
- Experience in successfully delivering services to Enterprises clients
- Strong service/client-oriented attitude, focus on an outcome
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced level of spoken and written English
Desirable: - Technical background (software development, QA, DevOps, etc.)
- Knowledge of the latest trends at SW development technologies and tools
- Experience in coaching, mentoring and conducting of training
