Job Description - The Senior Manager, Human Resources, is a seasoned HR professional who plays a critical role in shaping and executing the human resources strategy of the organization. This position requires a dynamic leader with a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive positive change. The Senior Manager, HR, is responsible for overseeing a spectrum of HR functions, contributing to the development of a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture, and aligning HR initiatives with broader business objectives.
Strategic HR Leadership Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute HR strategies that support the overall business & site strategy
Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development in R&D department
Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., retention program, compensation review, workforce planning and organizational change management)
Ensures strong execution of identified people strategies
Employee Relations & Compliance Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing complex employee relations issues
Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a strategic approach
Develop and implement communication strategies that foster transparency and a positive workplace culture.
Stay current with employment laws and regulations, advising leadership on necessary policy adjustments.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and practices.
Compensation And Benefits Collaborate with C&B COE to administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Learning And Development Collaborate with the Learning COE towards training needs, implementing learning and development programs.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging ongoing skill development.
Talent Acquisition And Management Collaborate with Talent hiring COE to implement effective talent management strategies
HR Metrics And Reporting Establish key HR metrics and develop insightful reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs.
Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure impact, and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications - A masters degree or relevant certification is desirable
- 10+ years of experience in Human Resources with a global technology organization.
- Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style with an emphasis on results
- Demonstrated success in developing global strategy and driving process improvements in a global workplace
- Experience leading transformation
- Proven track record of influencing, leading, and facilitating large-scale strategic initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills (including presentation skills) across levels, with an ability to persuade and influence, and the ability to build enthusiasm and commitment
- Goal-oriented, proactive, accountable, and passionate about driving results
- Strong people management skills
- An agile and continuous learner with personal resilience and an ability to deal with ambiguity
