Job Overview
As a Book Designer at ZebraLearn, you will play a pivotal role in the visual representation of our publications. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with the ability to seamlessly translate written narratives into visually captivating books. This position requires a combination of artistic flair, technical proficiency, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest design standards.
Designer's Responsibilities
- Craft visually compelling books that resonate with the target audience and encapsulate the essence of the content.
- Collaborate closely with authors, editors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall vision of each publication.
- Design and execute interior layouts with a focus on readability, aesthetics, and consistency.
- Experiment with typography, imagery, and formatting to enhance the visual appeal of book interiors.
- Engage in collaborative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative design concepts.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and ensuring the highest standards of design quality.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers to streamline the design process within project constraints.
Requirements
- Amazing imagination, strong layout understanding, and deep-diving research skills.
- Strong interest, knowledge, and experience in Typography, Adobe Indesign , Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator , and Adobe Suite .
- Experience in book designing, comic designing, or similar fields.
- Preferably 1+ years of proven work experience as a Graphic/Creative/Book Designer.
- Must have a degree in design, fine arts, or communication design from a reputed college.
- A keen eye for aesthetics, details, and alignments.
- Demonstrates systematic work approach with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
