Job Purpose
Strategically manage the workflow of Freight Forwarding Export Operations with best of his/her communications skills and intelligence. Give excellent customer service support to the customers and handle their shipments effectively by arranging for the space , documents within the time frame .
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and oversee the execution of all freight operations-related Export jobs( Both Sea , Air shipments )
- Coordinating with Sales team closely regarding the rates quotes, feedback received and giving timely updates on the shipment status and discussing the issues / resolutions if any
- Coordinating with Pricing team regarding the booking availability, rates issues , space issue -
- Handling the files in Zybo ( ERP system ) , opening the job cards in Zybo by filing all mandatory information's, closing the file in Zybo with correct buy & sell in place and uploading all the documents in Zybo
- Coordinating with customer regarding the shipment, managing bookings , updating the day to day status of the shipments , maintaining good customer relations, and ensuring quality and timely billing.
- Coordinate with shipper regarding caro collection timings and documents availability – Preplan all the arrangements to avoid additional charges.
- To communicate with carriers for export inquires and arrange the booking with carriers .
- Manage booking , loading , SI submission and handle documentation on time to avoid additional charges
- Communicate with local transporters on the timely collection of the cargo.
- Timely confirmation on the draft documents and collection of final documents prior shipment departure
- Escalating the issues to the team leader / Supervisor in timely basis - Trying to analyse the root cause of the issues and building the resolutions step by step .
- Attending the meetings with Regional managers and Sales team from front office .
- Coordination with accounts related to billing issues .
- Organize and coordinate the formalities regarding the clearing of cargo or shipments at the ports.

Requirements
• Degree in Business Management or logistics & supply chain management
• Experience of more than 1 +year in logistics or freight forwarding company , Must be experienced handling export shipments of same region or have the knowledge of Export process .
• Familiarity to work with computer; Microsoft Office and Windows , excel
• Ability to communicate in English language ( Verbally & non- Verbally )
