Job description

Job Purpose Manage LC advising desk including dispatch, courier coordination, enquiry resolution, reconciliation and charges recovery Monitoring of inwards/ outward clearing of the branch for all non trade transactions Reconciliation of funds transfers (inward, Outwards) Clearing (inward , outwards) and client queries Customer CIF creation and account opening Customer interaction for their various transaction and booking of loans and deposits in flexcube Handling of all trade finance transactions processed by MGS Team, as per the SOP in order to facilitate error free and value added services to our customers within established and agreed turnaround time with ensuring compliance with regulatory as also bank’s internal policies and guidelines Provide data for other internal departments like GRC reconciliation etc. Preparation of regulatory returns

Key Result Areas Handling of transactions related to LC advising, LC confirmation, Export documents checking, accurately and efficiently to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedure and Service Delivery Standards Liase with MGS for transaction related queries Ensure all documents or any transaction received at MB India counter is scanned in EDMS within cut off time Adherence to all policies, procedures, local laws, and regulatory Coordination with customers in advising, reviewing and discussing, their LCs, documents discrepancies, and payment /charge to provide them seamless services within the agreed TAT Maintain and update documents, correspondence and other record systematically to ensure efficient retrieval of the same. Identify bugs/flaws and propose improvement in operating systems and procedure to enhance efficiency Handle all client queries related to transactions and provide them timely response in line with SOP and bank policies Work along with line manager towards ensuring a ‘Satisfactory Audit’ ratings (IA, CA,RBI etc.). Closely work on all audit reports and responses and ensure proper and timely resolution / closures for items pertaining to Trade Finance and Operations team. Support line manager in periodic Review of SOP relate to Branch and trade operations, Policies etc. To keep track of all the latest regulatory guidelines and circulars and ensure that they are adhered to. Act as a backup for line manager and manage the overall functioning of the respective desk in absence of the line manager. Ensure accurate and timely preparation & submission of all regulatory returns related to Trade Finance and Operations. Support line manager in activities such as undertaking UAT, reviewing of results, etc. related to various system enhancement programs. Follow up with courier company for monthly LC advising charges. Complete control and responsibility for LC receivables

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree, post-graduation is preferred Should be meticulous / time bound/able to attend to multiple tasks in a time bound manner. Knowledge of basic banking & trade finance Should have good knowledge of MS office especially Excel. Should have experience of 2 to 4 years working in Trade Finance and branch operations in a Bank.
