The Eli Lilly and Company Capability Center, India (LCCI) is expanding our Information and Digital Solution (IDS u2013 formerly IT) team as part of LCCIu2019s broader IT strategy, to support current and future application development needs across the enterprise. LCCI is looking for team leaders across diverse areas of the IDS organization including manufacturing, supply chain, Clinical Development, data platforms, analytics, infrastructure, sales and marketing, research and development, and information security. The IDS Team Leader will manage resources dedicated to specific projects, where a sustained backlog allows for the utilization of consistent resources. This role will also provide a pool of resources supporting application development projects across the IDS. This will enable Lilly to leverage modern technology to solve complex business problems. The primary objectives for a Team Leader are to provide people management, business understanding, and technical leadership needed to ensure that LCCI IDS is strongly positioned to operate in a self-sufficient manner within a complex Lilly IDS and business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

u2022 Collaborate with a global team, including IDS business area leaders, architects, project managers, designers and other developers

u2022 Plan, Budget, track and report financials related to work, Be a good steward of Lillyu2019s money

u2022 Provide deep leadership and coaching in the project delivery lifecycle. Focus on shared learning, continuous improvement, and drive adoption of best practices

u2022 Demonstrated interpersonal skills, teamwork and people development

u2022 Provide mentorship to accelerate the development of solution architecture and technical expertise, specific to the Lilly IDS environment

u2022 Knowledge of architectural options and the ability to select based on needs and budget. Understand the business processes being supported by the team

u2022 Coach and develop team members through performance management, development planning, promotion, and career plans represent those team members in talent discussions.

u2022 Resourcing - continue the team growth through selection techniques, testing and interviews.

u2022 Organize your work within an Agile team & Knowledge on Sprint ceremonies (Planning, Estimation, Execution, Reporting & highlight Risks & Impediments) Key Skills:

u2022 Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, critical thinking, collaboration and decision-making skills

u2022 Possess a positive and energetic attitude, with a view to moving the business forward

u2022 Strong self-management and ability to work in ambiguity

u2022 Experience building and leading development and support teams that design and deliver highly reliable and scalable systems leveraging one or more technologies here, like JavaScript, Java, React & backend technologies like Python, Pyspark, PostgreSQL, Oracle or SQL Server

u2022 Experience leading development teams in major cloud technology modernization initiatives and programs, esp. in AWS - S3, Lambda, Glue, RDBMS, CloudWatch

u2022 Strong SQL Development/Datawarehouse experience, business requirements elicitation, data analysis.
u2022 Demonstrates Automation skill set with prior experience.

u2022 Experience developing IT solutions in a SaaS environment including application configuration/development

u2022 Experience leading highly motivated engineers, with specialized skills and diverse functional elements.

u2022 Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as agile software development, rapid prototyping, and DevOps)

u2022 Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

u2022 Understanding of architecture, design principles to guide the development team

Required Experience:

u2022 Minimum 3 years of management of a team or teams, should be able to lead a team of around 8 to 12 people

u2022 Minimum 10 years of total experience

u2022 Proven track record in capacity management and project estimation

u2022 Strong background having breadth of experience and technical knowledge

u2022 Lead teams to rationalize, optimize and support applications for maximum speed and scalability with industry best practices.

u2022 Proven experience leading a team in a regulated industry including but not limited to, understanding regulations, SOPs, computer systems validation, and change control.

u2022 Preferred to have experience / interest related to Pharma domain

u2022 Preferred certification in one of fields PMP, PMI, PRINCE II, Safe , CSM, SEI etc u2022 Knowledge in ITIL, Service Now
