Job description
Brief Summary of the Role:
Define, write, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for
functional, integration and regression testing
Create manual and automated tests and test execution reports for management
and the product team
Provide feedback in planning sessions, design and specification reviews
Must have 5 to 8 years of experience in Manual / Automation testing
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities
1. To write test plans, complete with time estimates for completion of task
2. To perform test plans, bug review and report bugs found in appropriate bug
tracking tools
3. To review software documentation
4. To assist management with scheduling and prioritization of quality
assurance activities
5. To document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with
standards
6. To maintain and augment existing automated tests, and add new ones as
appropriate
7. To develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine
product quality or release readiness
8. To complete the assigned task in the stipulated time period
9. To upgrade with the latest developments in the market and enhance the
learning curve
10. To take accountability of individual tasks and responsibilities
11. To conduct review meetings with the stakeholders
12. To ensure test report generation of the team
13. Knowledge or experience of automation is plus
Technical Qualifications:
. Strong in Functional, System, Regression, Integration, Compatibility
testing.
. Strong in API testing using tools like Postman/Swagger etc.
. Strong in Database testing. Hands on experience with MongoDB, proficient in
writing queries using SQL.
. Well versed with Agile methodology, Bug tracking and Test management using
Jira.
. Automation testing using Selenium and Java. Knowledge of Cypress,
Playwright automation tool would be a bonus.
