Job description
Job Summary: Experience in Rubrik (tool that Pepsi started using this tool about 5 years ago -this was original veritas and moved to Rubrik). Okay with remote in India if they are amazing and they will work up until 11PM IST (normal shift onsite in India is 12-9PM IST)
Required Skills and Experience: High skilled in Enterprise Backup Tools: Rubrik and Veritas NetBackup. Rubrik Platform: In-depth knowledge of the Rubrik platform, including its architecture, features, and capabilities. Backup and Recovery: Expertise in designing and implementing effective backup and recovery strategies using Rubrik solutions. Cloud Integration: Understanding of how Rubrik integrates with cloud platforms for data storage, management, and recovery. Data Management: Proficiency in managing and organizing data efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with data governance policies. Policy Creation: Ability to create and manage backup policies tailored to the organization's specific needs and compliance requirements. Automation: Proficient in automating backup and recovery processes to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human error. Working on Audits, maintaining the environment standards. Monitor the environment, regarding the failures, capacity in Rurik, NetBackup, Data Domain front. Requires close communication with Veritas / Rubrik Support team to close out any gaps. At least 5 years in technical subject matter expertise position for Backup and Recovery. Operational experience in technical platforms (Cloud storage, Network Attached Storage, Block storage, Backup and Recovery, Server platforms is a plus). Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V, and others. Strong analytical skills to support problem troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause determination to complex technology issues.Job tags
