Designation – Asst. Manager – Finance, Legal and Compliance

Location – Godrej One, Vikhroli, Mumbai

Job Purpose

Asst. Manager Finance and Accounts will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, Statutory compliances, and Contract Mgt.

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily financial management, including accounting processing, voucher review, accounting verification, etc.
  • Preparation of annual budget, and conduct follow-up and analysis to ensure the realization of the company's financial objectives.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources.
  • Monitoring the collection of Rent, CAM, HVAC Parking charges, fit out charges etc. Fund allocation, banking processing and payment, etc.
  • Review the financial statements and accounting records to ensure their authenticity and accuracy.
  • Organize and implement tax planning to ensure compliance with tax regulations to minimize tax burden.
  • MIS reports and audited balance sheet, account reconciliation for the financial year, tracking debtor reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal regulations and internal policies.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Coordinate external audits and facilitate the review of financial statements.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Instrumental in RFP negotiation and contract closure for the services
  • Monitor and ensure that all activities & tasks pertaining to Statutory Compliances are completed within stipulated timelines
  • Ensure timely adherence of State Min. Wages as per prescribed notifications
  • Dealing with Notices Under Various Acts

Educational Qualification: Graduate

Experience: 10-15 yrs

Skills Required

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in commerce with 10 - 12 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Advanced SAP, Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of web-based applications supporting corporate real estate requirements.
  • Working knowledge of reporting tools to support site/ cross-site analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
