Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our team. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products or services by implementing testing methodologies, identifying defects, and suggesting improvements. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications or products.
2. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed.
3. Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
4. Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize testing activities and resolve issues in a timely manner.
6. Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on quality-related concerns.
7. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to quality assurance and testing.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role, preferably in the software development industry.
3. Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
4. Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
5. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Agile/Scrum).
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
7. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
9. ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
