Director – Modeling and Meta-Analysis Reports to MMA Centre of Excellence Lead Job Summary As a Director at OPEN Health, you are an essential contributor to our team, working across various projects with ownership of specific projects, deliverables and timelines. You will lead and coach people in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, international organization. An important part of this role will involve co-leading our team in India and providing strategic input on team development and resourcing. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Guiding and mentoring junior and mid-level consultants on economic modelling, trial data analysis and evidence synthesis projects and conducting quality control of project deliverables Reviewing project reports and other deliverables Adhering to project budgets and timelines Leading client interactions and outreach to ensure client satisfaction Leading requests for proposals and supporting the growth of the business through the development of strong client relationships Effectively managing relationships within OPEN Health and with external stakeholders Developing, implementing, and maintaining internal processes and quality standards Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field Disseminating and integrating new methods into the business Contributing to thought leadership and publications Experience, Skills, and Qualifications Master’s Degree or PhD in any relevant science, such as health economics, econometrics, economics, pharmacy, epidemiology, statistics or medical sciences Highly experienced within the field of HEOR, with hands-on experience in modeling, trial data analysis and/or evidence synthesis, and familiarity with analysis positioning in the context of health economic modelling, reimbursement dossiers, and health technology assessment submissions Experience in economic modeling and/or meta-analysis with a consulting company or pharmaceutical company preferred Highly experienced with leading modeling, data analysis and/or evidence synthesis projects, including: o Markov and PSM, including more advanced modeling techniques such as cure modeling. o Bayesian network meta-analysis, including non-proportional hazard methods and meta-regression o Population-adjusted indirect treatment comparisons, including matching-adjusted indirect comparison, simulated treatment comparison, and multi-level network meta-regression o Survival analysis, including flexible and innovative methods not limited to landmark survival analysis and methods for incorporating external data o Utility analysis to inform health economic models o Bespoke statistical modelling of clinical trial patient level data to inform health economic models o Analysis of surrogate endpoints Ability to lead a team of bright and motivated consultants Intellectual curiosity and independence, to include the ability to self-start and self-teach Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) along with the ability to question the status quo Ability to clearly communicate complex (statistical) methods to other team members and external stakeholders Proactive, responsive and able to balance shifting priorities Team player, but also able to work independently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Full proficiency in MS Office programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint Travel Requirements International and domestic as required for team and client meetings/conferences as required by business needs About OPEN Health OPEN Health unites deep scientific knowledge with wide-ranging specialist expertise to unlock possibilities that improve health outcomes and patient wellbeing.
