Role: Senior ETL (Talend) Technical Lead
Experience: 12-15 years of relevant experience Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology from a reputed University Location: Pune OR Trivandrum ( Hybrid Mode) Technical Know-How- T alend ETL, SQL, PL/ SQL, Oracle Performance Tuning, Oracle Database, DWH, KIMBALL modelling, Team Leading experience. You will be responsible for the complete life cycle of Data Warehouse products which includes Data requirement analysis, design, development, management, upgrades, and support of critical enterprise Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and environments. The ETL Technical Lead is responsible for deploying RIA’s analytical product globally from pre-implementation planning to go-live and post go live. Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and enhancing the RIA analytical product stack not just limited to ETL tools, but also knowledgeable with Databases and event driven streaming. ETL Technical Lead carry Performance analysis and tunes the ETL framework. Ensures the system runs smoothly at client sites. Responsible for deploying RIA Data Analytical product and supporting ETL customization efforts as per the end users’ requirements. Designing of ETL load process Source system data structure and fields analysis. Extract data from source systems using ETL tools (Talend Open Studio) Creation of data mapping documentation (transformation rules, mappings, selection criteria) Implementation / programming / configuration of transformation rules, structure/field/value-mapping Evaluating the quality of data in data warehouse/Data Mart Someone who is little technical and from automation testing, development background. Someone who can visualize the big picture from product perspective. Able to track the things at Feature or Epic level and plan releases accordingly. (Release management exposure). & Experience : 12-15 years’ experience in Data Warehouse experience development, at least 9 years in Talend ETL/ or any ETL Development Exposure to hands-on ETL coding in at least 2 Projects as Team Member Experience with focus on ETL coding using Talend / Other ETL tools, CDC tools (Goldengate, Attunity etc..) Expertise in Oracle Performance tuning is a must. Additional Database experience such as SQL, Postgres added advantage. 9+ years of hands on experience in Oracle performance tuning in handling, and Optimization larger volumes of Oracle tables (DB size more than 30 TB) 9+ years of hands-on Oracle performance that includes larger set of tables & DBs included in the where conditions Tuning experience level should be at various levels– PL/SQL tuning, Infrastructure level tuning, ETL tuning, tuning at DW modelling level, Tuning at application/threaded levels. 9+ Years of implementation experience using KIMBALL modelling (STAR SCHEMA, SNOWFLAKE SCHEMA, SCD-1, SCD-2 etc) Strong in writing SQL, PL/SQL & T-SQL Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server & PostgreSQL Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent collaborator with team members and business located across the globe. Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and principles Exposure to Streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark) is desirable. Experience working with revenue management systems is desirable. Experience working with OCI/AWS or any other cloud environment is desirable. Experience working with Azure, SNOWFLAKE, REDSHIFT cloud data platforms and pipeline would be an added advantage.
